Although Caymas Boats was just founded in 2018, its roots go back nearly 50 years. Founder and CEO Earl Bentz had been involved with Mercury Racing Team back in the 1970s, he then went on to work at Hydra Sports where he decided to start his own boat company, Stratos Boats. Along the way he moved to OMC and eventually along with several of his OMC Management team, he started up Triton Boats in 1996 where he built boats with no wood construction.
